Kindle A New Love for Hebrew

If you live in western Michigan, I wanted to let you know about a wonderful opportunity to explore the richness of Hebrew and how it brings the Scriptures to life.
Western Theological Seminary is sponsoring a 7-week evening class in February and March for pastors and laity called “Engaging the God of the Old Testament.”
The class will give people a basic introduction to Hebrew and then explore the rich theology of its words and how they deepen our understanding of God’s word.
The class will be led by Travis West, a highly-talented, engaging teacher who recently received his M.Div at Western. He is offering his love of the Hebrew language and this new method of engaging the Old Testament to area pastors and congregations.
The class will have 7 sessions, either for pastors (Tuesdays at 7:30 - 9:00 am: Feb. 9, 16, 23 and March 2, 9, 16, and 23) or laypersons (Thursday at 7:00 - 8:30 pm: Feb. 11, 18, 25 and March 4, 11, 18, and 25).
If you’d like to learn more and sign up, visit the information page on the Western Seminary site.
